Today every smartphone user positively use WhatsApp or tried once in his past smartphone experience. WhatsApp is the most used common social instant messenger among others initially released by WhatsApp Inc. in 2010 and, later on, February 19, 2014, Facebook Inc. acquired WhatsApp for around 19 billion USD deal. 1. Hiding Previous Seen/Last Seen Status Tips:
Sometimes it is necessary to hide the previous seen or last seen status from your WhatsApp contact list. You want to go online and also want that your contacts can't see you as online, WhatsApp included that features to hide your previous seen status. Moreover you can also choose also your profile picture and status message stay public or not.
Follow the simple step to do that, “Settings=>Account=>Privacy” There will have three option “Everyone” “My Contacts” and “Nobody” for each “Last Seen” “Profile Photo” and “Status”. Select from them as your need.
Note: If you don`t share your Last Seen, you won`t be able to see other people`s Last Seen
2. Turn off read receipt / Blue Tick Mark Tricks
Like your online status hide option there have a small tick mark to hide your read receipt. This will also helps you to read your friends incoming messages and that also without showing them that you have read already.To do the job head over to WhatsApp “Settings=>Account=>Privacy”. Toggle the tick mark to enable or disable the read receipt or Blue ticks namely.
Note: If you turn off read receipt , you won`t be able to see read receipts from other people. Read receipts are always sent for group chat
3. Stop automatic media download tips on WhatsApp
No longer you need to install a modified WhatsApp like WhatsApp Plus or GB WhatsApp or OG WhatsApp to stop automatic download of received media on WhatsApp.Simply head over to WhatsApp “Settings=>Chats and Calls=>Media auto-download”
In the Media auto-download screen, there has three option “When using mobile data”, “When connected on Wi-Fi” and “When roaming”, Now choose what method you want to apply for your incoming media on WhatsApp chat. By default Images is auto-download mode when you are using mobile data and all media are auto-download mode when you are using a Wi-Fi connection and No media will download when you will be in roaming. Simple tick marks will toggle these settings whether to choose an option for auto-download media or manual media download.
4. Tricks not losing access and data change your WhatsApp No.
Somehow you have lost your old phone number? And got a new number? Want to use the same with WhatsApp? Want to change your old number associated with WhatsApp without losing access to all the groups you had joined? Here’s how you can do it.Head over to WhatsApp “Settings -> Account -> Change Number=>Type and Confirm” Type both your old and new phone number and hit ‘Done’ located on the upper right screen.
5. Tricks to send the same message to all friends on WhatsApp at once:
This one is very helpful and time-saving for those who have to handle a lot of event or seminar invitation or sending Happy new year wish to your friends on WhatsApp. Sending the same message to choosing from WhatsApp contacts one by one will take too much time moreover this whole process will also make you feel bored. Here an easy solution to send the same message to all or selected contact at once from your WhatsApp contacts.Head over to WhatsApp and Go to “Option menu” and Select “New broadcast”
Create a broadcast list from your contact list tapping on the + Symbol and type your message and send. Your selected contact in the broadcast list will receive the message on WhatsApp whenever they will be connected to the internet. And you are all done.
Managing your broadcast list is also very easy by few simple step. Tap on your created broadcast list from all chat and go to option and select “Broadcast List Info”. Here you can rename your broadcast list name, add or delete a recipient, set a picture for the broadcast list and so on.
6. Customise WhatsApp notification tips
A lot of more settings available in notification settings window of WhatsApp, I am continuing share that one by one here.First of all head over to WhatsApp “Settings” then “Notifications”a) “Conversation tones tick mark” will toggle to enable or disable tones for incoming and outgoing messages.
b) Change your default notification tone with your own notification tone simply tapping on “Notification tone”
c) Taping on “Vibrate” will let you decide to choose vibrate mode from “Off”, “Default”, “Short” and “Long”
d) “Popup Notification” This one is very interesting will let you give a popup notification whenever you receive a message on WhatsApp. Sometimes if you don`t want that your friend isn't able to read your incoming message so you can again disable the popup also. By default, it is disabled by WhatsApp.

Note: This notification settings will change whole WhatsApp notification settings if you want custom notification for a contact you can choose that also taping on the contact name from the chat thread window.
7. Change chat thread wallpaper:
The old same wallpaper of chat thread make you feel colourless life then its time to change your chat thread wallpaper with few simple step and choose your own wallpaper as chat thread background.To do that head over to WhatsApp “Settings=>Chat and calls=>Wallpaper”
8. Backup your WhatsApp chat:
As it`s always good to have a backup of important files and folder in our computer same as you if you would like to take your WhatsApp chat back you can do a backup either on local storage or also can take backup on Google drive. If you want to take backup on Google drive you have to connect your Google drive with WhatsApp. It's very simple, select your google drive account and you are done automatically.To get your backup head over to WhatsApp “Settings=>Chat and calls=>Chat backup”. Tap on green “BACK UP” button and your backup will be store on Google drive, all your backup will restore on your internal storage when you reinstall WhatsApp.
